KeyPlus Celebrate Living Wage Pay Rise

KeyPlus owner Brian Curran has continued his promise to voluntarily go further than the government minimum wage as a member of the living wage foundation.

KeyPlus Security have been an advocate of a fair wage for employees, in line with The Living Wage Foundation for over 3 years. This means KeyPlus employees will now automatically benefit from a 3.6% pay rise.

The Living Wage Foundation provides information of the true salary requirement, independently calculated, based on the real cost of living in the UK and London. This means the Living Wage Foundation Accredited Employers like KeyPlus, voluntarily pay more than the governments recommended minimum wage.

The calculation is based on a number of factors, including higher rates of inflation and rising costs that affect us all including, essential shopping, transportation and housing costs.

Brian explained, “It’s important to me we look after our staff. They work in a dangerous industry and environment, providing much needed security support to businesses, properties and individuals. We recognise and are grateful to them for this.”

“However, it’s not just about providing the right training and protection for the job. We also need to realise the practical side of life and living costs are continuously rising.”
