Corporate Social Responsibility
How we fulfil our Corporate Social Responsibility
You’ll find the ways we fulfil our Corporate Social Responsibility below.
We believe that our employees deserve a fair deal, that’s why we’re a Living Wage Employer. Being a Living Wage Employer means we pay the real living wage – the only wage calculation based on the true cost of living. Paid voluntarily, we’re proud to be one of over 6,500 businesses in the UK giving hundreds of thousands of workers a pay rise. Reviewing its rate annually, being a Living Wage Employer shows our commitment to paying our employees a fair wage for a fair day’s work.
We’ve joined the Good Business Charter
We’re pleased to have received an accreditation from the Good Business Charter, recognising our responsible approach to business. The Charter measures business behaviour over 10 components looking at how well we treat our employees and customers as well as how we manage our impact on the environment. Joining over 800 accredited businesses, we’re committed to operating in a responsible and sustainable way.
We have a number of ISO accreditations; internationally agreed standards that set out the requirements for us as a business including ISO 14001:2015 which covers Environmental Management. This accreditation helps us to improve our environmental performance, managing our impact and helping us to become more sustainable as a business.
We also have ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management accreditations which you can see on our ‘Company Documents’ page.
Supporting our community
We’re pleased to support our local community and we’re involved in a number of initiatives, from sponsorships to charitable giving.
