KeyPlus Awarded New ISO Accreditations
Every day, thousands of lives are lost due to accidents in the workplace or from work-related diseases. These deaths could – and should – be prevented. ISO 45001, a standard from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), aims to help businesses do just that.
Providing a framework to help improve employee safety, reduce risks in the workplace and create better and safer working conditions, we have successfully passed our assessment to become an ISO 45001 accredited employer. But we’re not stopping there… We’ve also successfully passed assessment for another accreditation, ISO 14001.
ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard, setting out the requirements for an environmental management system, designed to help businesses make their day to day operations more sustainable. The standard provides guidance on several aspects of business operations to create more efficient use of resources and reduce waste.
Founded in 1947, the ISO is an independent, non-governmental organisation which operates globally. Their International Standards give world-class specification to ensure products, services and systems are of high quality, safety and efficiency.
Committed to the continuous improvement of our business, these new accreditations will help us to continue delivering the high level of service our clients and colleagues have come to expect.
“Creating a safer workplace and looking at our sustainability is really important to us as a business. Our colleagues and clients deserve the best service we can give them and being awarded these accreditations proves that we really aim to excel at what we do” said Brian Curran, Managing Director.
“Having recently been awarded a £1m contract for the provision of Security Services to Lancashire County Council, 2019 is going to be a really exciting year for us. Receiving two new ISO accreditations is another fantastic achievement for the business.”
