Mobile Response Supervisor, Warren Graham discovered a hidden rucksack when attending a recent alarm activation. The premises consist of several vacant mill buildings situated on a large sprawling site, bordered by a canal.
A remote CCTV operator had identified two intruders and called KeyPlus to request our immediate attendance, as there had been previous incidents of metal and cable theft. Warren arrived within 5 minutes and whilst waiting for the Police to arrive, found an abandoned rucksack stuffed full of tools.
The thermal image shown above shows a strong heat trace from a pair of wire-cutting pliers hidden inside the rucksack. The thief managed to get away just in the nick of time but not before leaving his sweaty handed signature…
